The half-day summit began with the Conversation Gauntlet, a rapid-fire series of six 1:1 interviews with a collection of innovators from different disciplines and perspectives. Brian Reich, author of Shift & Reset and SVP-Global Editor for Edelman, served as the moderator.
Next up in the hot seat, Kyle Klatt is the manager of development for Groupon’s G-Team. As the leader of Groupon’s nonprofit division that uses the power of collective action to address local community issues, Kyle Klatt and his team of 12 work with charities and nonprofits in 70 cities and will have helped over 2,000 nonprofits leverage Groupon subscribers’ generosity by the end of 2012. All of which is free of charge to nonprofits.
Kyle’s passion for volunteerism isn’t a recent phenomenon. His philanthropic pursuits began at age 13 as a volunteer camp counselor and continue today for the Human Rights Campaign and various HIV/AIDS organizations.
